ANNOUNCEMENT

1. REPLACEMENT CLASS POLICY

We have received numerous complaints from parents on certain classes being unusually full at times. This is the result of certain parents taking advantage of our earlier relaxed stand on enforcing our replacement class policy by turning up the last minute. In view of the above, going forward, we will no longer entertain any replacement class request that has not been booked in accordance with our policy. In summary, you have a period of 1 week to replace each class you are unable to attend beginning from the date on which you attend class again (i.e. if you are unable to attend classes for 2 weeks, you will have 2 weeks from the date you attend class again to complete your replacement classes). All replacement class requests are subject to availability of classes of the same semester/theme that you are currently registered AND we will only entertain a replacement class request that is booked at least 7 days in advance of the class which you are unable to attend AND there are no replacements for any replacement classes that you have booked and are unable to attend.

2. REVISED TUITION FEE (PURCHASE OF 1-4 LESSONS ONLY)

Our registration is booked by the semester. The option to purchase 1-4 lessons within a semester is originally catered for expatriates and frequent travelers who can't be around for many consecutive lessons in a semester and we only allow limited students/class to break semester enrolment. Off –late it has been abused by non-frequent travelers and had caused unhappiness to fellow-expatriates. After much deliberation, we have decided to revise the tuition fee of “walk-in” arrangement (purchase of 1-4 lessons) to RM35 as opposed to RM28 effective September 2005, and this must be paid at the inception of the semester to secure a position. Trial lessons will still be charged at RM28.

We would also like to take this opportunity to remind parents that Kindermusik is not just a weekly activity. It is a premier early childhood brain stimulation program which thrives on the early learning and E-Q development through classroom stimulation AS WELL AS consistent and repetitive learning at home, hence the purchase of home materials is a strict requirement.

3. MAESTRO AWARD BY KINDERMUSIK INTERNATIONAL, U.S.

We are proud to announce that our centre has recently been granted “Maestro” status by Kindermusik International, the world's leading publisher of music and movement programs. Maestro centres are recognized as the top Kindermusik centres in terms of number of students, community outreach and/or masterful teaching at an international level.

We would like to take this opportunity to thank all our parents for your support thus far, and for spreading good words about our centre to your friends. We will continue to uphold our mission to help children become better learners and helping parents understand how to help their children reach their highest potential.

Studio Etiquette:

•  Please remove your shoes before entering the studio. Our little ones are always on the floor. Adults are encouraged to wear socks.

•  For hygienic reasons, please do not bring or consume food or drinks in the studio at all times. Diaper changing is also not allowed in the studio

•  Only one adult may accompany one child into class if the program requires the parent's participation. If more than one adult is taking turns in participating, we would appreciate the other adult to observe the class outside the studio should there be any space constraint.

•  No siblings are allowed in class as they will be disruptive to the class environment.

•  Use toilet facilities before class so your child can enjoy the full benefit of the class without interruption.

•  If your child becomes upset during class, please take a brief walk outside and get a drink of water, which may help your child calm down before returning to class.

•  Please refrain from chatting in class in order to encourage active listening, learning and participation. Remember, you are your child's no. 1 role model.

•  Please do not bring your child to class if they are ill.

•  Kindly refrain from taking pictures and video recording in class except for your kid's graduation day with the permission of the teacher.

Company Policies* :
